Przemysław Sieracki, MD, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Medical Academy in Gdańsk (now Medical University of Gdańsk – 2008). He completed his one-year postgraduate internship at the University Clinical Centre in Gdańsk and in 2015 – psychiatry residency training program at the Adult Psychiatry Clinic of the same institution. While completing his residency, he simultaneously improved his qualifications by participating in scientific conferences and while working with patients at the Addiction and Co-addiction Treatment Clinic in Gdańsk and at the Hospital in Kościerzyna. In 2015 he graduated from 4-year postgraduate studies in cognitive behavioural psychotherapy at the SWPS University in Sopot. Upon completion of the specialization training, he commenced work at the Hospital in Elbląg, the Addiction Therapy Centre in Smażyn and the EKO School of Life in Wandzin. Currently, he is the Head of the Mental Health Centre at the Hospital in Lębork, where he manages a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists and nurses, as well as works at the Mental Health Outpatient Clinic at the Hospital of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration (MSWiA) in Olsztyn. He specialises in diagnosing and treating mental disorders and diseases in adults. His areas of interest include affective disorders (depression, bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders (panic attacks, generalised anxiety disorder, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, PTSD), sleep disorders, addictions (alcohol and drugs) as well as dementia syndromes (Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, Parkinson’s disease dementia). In addition, he works with amateur and professional athletes.
