From the Speiser & Co. mill to a modern medical space.

Today’s ProfessMed operates in a location that for decades was part of Gdańsk’s industrial history along the Radunia River. The former infrastructure of this area has now found a new, quieter purpose—one connected with care, health, and modern medicine.

A place etched into the history of Gdańsk

In archival materials from the early 20th century, this site appears as Danziger Mühlenwerke Speiser & Co.—a mill connected to a branch of the Radunia River and the industrial rhythm of this part of the city. It is a piece of local history that can now be revisited in a more intimate, thoughtfully curated way.

The canal that drove the development of this part of Gdańsk

The area of present-day Tartaczna was long associated with water, labor, and urban infrastructure. In the broader context of Gdańsk’s history, this is where facilities powered by the Radunia Canal developed. Today’s medical center preserves the memory of this place while giving it an entirely new purpose.

Archived materials and historical illustrations

This page should feature 2–3 carefully selected materials: an archival advertisement or mention, a restored frame of the former mill, and a technical reconstruction drawing. A small, elegant set is enough—the goal is not an extensive exhibition, but a credible brand detail.
