You do not always need a thick binder. It is worth bringing the documents and information that will genuinely help the doctor.

Documents and results

Bring imaging reports, recent laboratory results and hospital discharge summaries if they relate to the problem.

If there are a lot of records, select the most important and most recent ones.

Practical information

Prepare a list of your medicines with their doses.

Note the dates of significant events: when symptoms began, an injury, surgery or earlier consultations.
