- What does an orthopedic consultation look like?
- The visit includes a medical interview regarding symptoms and injuries, a physical examination (assessment of range of motion, joint stability, and posture), and—if needed—a referral for imaging tests. Based on this, the orthopedist will recommend a treatment plan.
- What medical records should I bring to my appointment?
- It is worth bringing the results of imaging tests (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound), documentation from previous orthopedic or rehabilitation consultations, and a list of medications you are taking.
