dr hab. n. med. Kamil Chwojnicki
Neurologist
Dr. hab. n. med. Kamil Chwojnicki is a board-certified neurologist. He graduated from the Medical University of Gdańsk and has 15 years of professional experience. In 2001–2002, he was a recipient of the Socrates–Erasmus scholarship program at Claude Bernard University in Lyon, where he became familiar with the latest diagnostic and therapeutic standards. He currently works at the Adult Neurology Clinic at the University Clinical Center in Gdańsk. He earned his PhD in 2008 and completed his habilitation in 2018. He is a co-author of approximately 100 scientific publications, conference reports, and textbook chapters. He specializes primarily in the treatment of conditions such as stroke, memory disorders, multiple sclerosis, as well as dizziness and headaches, particularly migraines.

- Assessment of patients with suspected or diagnosed disease, with recommendations on possible forms of therapy
- Symptomatic treatment—management of pain, spasticity, and urinary disorders. Collaboration with centers conducting clinical trials in multiple sclerosis
- diagnosis and treatment of spinal pain syndromes, including radicular syndromes (sciatica, femoral neuralgia, and brachial neuralgia)
- diagnosis and treatment of peripheral neuropathies—damage to peripheral nerves and polyneuropathies (including diabetic polyneuropathy)
- greater occipital nerve block for occipital neuralgia (the so-called “cervical migraine”)
- diagnosis and treatment of motor neuron disease (ALS – amyotrophic lateral sclerosis); therapy with riluzole, edaravone, AMX0035 (TUDCA + Ammonaps)
- diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular junction disorders (myasthenia gravis)
